Getting A Late Start

I am going to try to do the 29 faces for February   Please visit Ayala Art if you would like to participate.  The Mr. Linky thing drives me nuts so I cannot promise I will finish 29 days, but I'll give it a shot.  Since I'm starting late, here are some "catch up" faces.

 For Day 1
An enhanced, colorized  image of a face I started in charcoal trying to do icons.
For Day 2
A "mirror" image....without all the wrinkles.  LOL Whew! I'd still be drawing!
For Day 3
Just a "dude"
For Day 4
Tried to do a fat little laughing baby I saw in a book, but it looks more like a circus lady.  Sorry baby's mom, whoever you are!  :)
Day 5
A very special lady.  I don't know if she is recognizable because I am not a portrait artist, but anyway, she is my face for Day 5.
See you tomorrow with another, I hope.

  1. I like your faces, especially the dude and the nun, who reminds me of one of the Sister Act movie.

  2. I like all your faces. The nun is awesome. Nice job Judie. Have a great rest of the week. By the way your previous post with your ladies on what looks like wood is just awesome. I just cut out lots of 9 x 12 size slats of hardboard to paint on. It will be fun.

  3. Judie I love them all, so much character, each of them! I wanted to say... the baby does look like a baby! :oD I think I like the mirror face best, so far.

  4. Yea! I'm glad you're playing along, too. All your faces look great. I especially like the mirror image.

  5. Yay!!!Great job! LOVE them all. Such character you add to each one with your shading. Excellent really. xx

  6. What great character in your drawings!

  7. Great drawings! Nice to see you are playing along.

  8. Love the laughing baby and of course LOVE Mother Angelica.

  9. Thanks for commenting on my first face. Like your faces. There's a lot of variety.

Your comments are sincerely appreciated. Knowing you have been here is what keeps me posting. Thank you for taking the time.
