The Journey

Today I went to where the Jeweled Madonna
awaits one who loves and needs her.
She leans up against that tree
at the base of the footbridge, to the right,
just behind that clump of foliage

It seems she is not yet needed
by passersby here.
Someone did stop and pick her up,
putting her back down facing the tree
so that the writing on the back shows...
the writing that says she is a gift and to take her.

I can think of many reasons for the turning
and I left it that way
as it is part of the journey.

She waits.

  5. I think turning the sign out was a good idea. If I saw something like this against a tree, I would think I was stealing it if I didn't know it was there for who needed her. I sure wish I lived near your bridge.
