The Best News I Have Heard in a Long Time!

CALIFORNIA BANS CAPTIVE BREEDING OF SEAWORLD ORCAS

"The California Coastal Commission has banned the breeding of captive Orcas in SeaWorld in San Diego.  This means that the 11 Orcas there WILL BE THE LAST!  This ban was a last minute amendment attached to the commissions approval of a $100 million expansion of the tanks Sea World uses to hold Orcas.  The expansion will triple the size of the tanks! It also prohibits the sale, trade or transfer of captive Orcas."

Kudos to the California Coastal Commission

Now, if Sea World  FLORIDA would follow suit!
I just do not believe in caging animals, other than for their own safety.
Those of you who know I have a Macaw may ask - is she caged?
The answer is NO.  She lives free except when I am not there to supervise her safety.
