HAIKU MY HEART - RAINY SEASON

summer rains have come
grass grows even in moonlight
those who mow grumble

.......close your eyes
.....imagine rain

a little chuckle perhaps?    insects on a bough

                                         still singing

  1. I don't have to close my eyes Judie... it is right here, pitter-patting and you would not know it was June... I love this image of grass growing in moonlight...

  2. I did! I did! closed my eyes and imagined rain... And for a bit, the sound of the cars driving down Broadway sounded like gentle summer rain. Yummy!

  5. I like to think that the grass is growing at all times, not just when we can see it. Oh, wait! Isn't watching grass grow about the same as watching paint dry?
