The Journey

Today I went to where the Jeweled Madonna
awaits one who loves and needs her.
She leans up against that tree
at the base of the footbridge, to the right,
just behind that clump of foliage
It seems she is not yet needed
by passersby here.
Someone did stop and pick her up,
putting her back down facing the tree
so that the writing on the back shows...
the writing that says she is a gift and to take her.
I can think of many reasons for the turning
and I left it that way
as it is part of the journey.
She waits.

  1. well...if I were able to take that path, I would certainly have to bring her home with me.

  2. Hello Judie. I too would have brought her home with me and treasured it for the rest of my life Judie dear. Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. I'm waiting eagerly to see how this story turns out!

  4. You must live in the land of plenty!
I can't imagine how I would have felt to find her...
I certainly would have scooped her up
and treasured her...the right person is moving ever so slowly...
this is an exciting story. thank you for the update :)
    Love you♥ ♥ ♥

  5. I think turning the sign out was a good idea. If I saw something like this against a tree, I would think I was stealing it if I didn't know it was there for who needed her. I sure wish I lived near your bridge.

  6. I am fascinated by this continuing story. It is fun to read all of the ways other commenters are enjoying and interpreting the continuing story, too.

  7. A mystery, a veil, a moment waiting yet the turning of another page... thank you for sharing this with us.

  8. i love the mystery of this. the unfolding. the believing that spiritual treasures truly are around us always, if we slow down and see clearly with our hearts.
i love you for being you.
