This is so lyrical! You could put these words to music! I think i'll be hearing these words all day! It makes me start to hum! Thank you! Have a wonderful day!
Hurry little owl and find the crook and crack of the old tree to make it through this weekend! Love his painting, Judie and your haiku! (On my haiku, those were the pods of "pink ladies' (aka n*aked ladies) that only bloom here in the Fall. I've been looking at them since I was a child and only saw the pods this year!)
you have conjured up a sweet memory from my younger days-something that happened on a full blue moon...something that fills me with happiness even after all these years. thank you for this gift and your sweet blue owl!

ReplyDeleteSome appreciate the extra bit of mystery a darker night can bring.
ReplyDeleteAwe, what a lovely and sweet drawing! I love the compassion for the owl 'in the moonlight' in your haiku!

Sweet little owl. I hope you have a great week ahead to look forward to. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I have a huge soft spot for owls - and admiration for anyone who plays with haiku with your skill.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever see a blue owl, you'll be a famous birdwatcher!
ReplyDeleteI rather like the dark. I hope I don't turn blue like your little owl, or my hiding places would be few!
