Do Angels gather?
Is there a place they congregate to compare notes?
My mind wonders if they bond
If they love each other
If they have feelings like earth-tied humans.
Do they plan and scheme
To make our life here on earth
safer
better
To heal our hearts.
Were they really once one of us?
Do they truly watch over our days and nights
And help us through tough times
As we are told by those who believe, who trust?
Do they even exist?
