I can hear rainbows
I can taste flowing clouds, but
Birdsong I can see
No other creature
Steals my heart away from me
Like the birdies do
Just can't stay awake. How cute is that!

ReplyDeleteI love the bird drawings. I listen to them sing in my yard, but never thought about "hearing" their song. I need to take heed and maybe I can have this experience. Well done.

ReplyDeleteThank you Nanka. I want you to know that I visit your website, but I can never leave a comment. It seems your server and my web crawler don't get along. I always get a message that there is a problem. But just know that I do visit.

ReplyDeleteNesting Place
I have found the joy of birdie watching
ReplyDeletethis year in our new neighborhood,
Just this week I saw a pair of humming birds!
It was a gift...
and the 3 yellow finches that visit each evening,
you can almost set your watch to them,
they always arrive at cocktail hour!
Your paintings are so colorful and happy,
the first is my favorite, love a chubby bird:)
♥♥♥
Your birds are awesome as are your words of Haiku. I watch the Hummingbirds in my yard. They are very territorial and fight for their place. Happy days to you amiga. take care.
