GIVING, RECEIVING
WHICH ONE GROWS YOUR HEART?
I THINK GIVING WINS
This is a small housewarming gift I am making for
an acquaintance. It's upcycled art using a
cut fence picket, knothole included.
Obviously, it is not finished. I just placed the art and the quote to get
an idea what it will be like.
In case the quote is not legible, it reads:
Blessed
is the home
where each puts
the other's happiness
first
It needs a little punch so I might put a border around the art.
What do you think?
Suggestions are always welcome!
It feels so much better to give than to receive.

All my life... I have loved giving. It truly brings me great joy. Recently though... I've been told that my work now is to receive and find as much joy as I do in the giving... so it is a joy to receive your haiku and a view of your beautiful gift Judie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful gift. I think both giving and receiving grows love, and opens the heart.
ReplyDeleteI love giving too. It soothes the soul. Great Haiku and I'm sure your gift will be appreciated. Have a great day Judie.
ReplyDeleteThe main thing is: The heart grows!
ReplyDeleteAn Empty Song
I don't understand how it works but I do know there is a beautiful energy flow that happens with both giving and receiving. Sharing is wonderful. LOVE these Pelicans.
