Haiku my Heart - Nature

watercolor

MORNING RUN

hurry, sandpiper
before the tide takes it out
forage for your food

These little shorebirds can be seen from early
morning until dusk, and even later in moonlight
running along the shore foraging for yummies
brought in by the sea's tides
lapping at the sand.
They are a pure delight.

linked with heartfelt joy to
who provides a gateway
to more magical haiku

Thanks, Rebecca

sometimes, when i am foraging through my treasures,

  10. I think that's what haiku writers do: forage. Bits and pieces here and there make poems!
