MORNING RUN
hurry, sandpiper
before the tide takes it out
forage for your food
These little shorebirds can be seen from early
morning until dusk, and even later in moonlight
running along the shore foraging for yummies
brought in by the sea's tides
lapping at the sand.
They are a pure delight.

who provides a gateway
to more magical haiku
