she packs a wallop
when mother nature punches
but it's just her way
Whew! She has headed out to go annoy someone else.
We have survived Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hermine
It's wet, soggy and still very grey
but now, if the rain, lightning, and leftover wind gusts
will only catch up with momma 'cane,
will only catch up with momma 'cane,
the cleanup begins.
Even though she is sometimes mean...and messy...
I still love her!
A lot!

Dear Judie, I am so glad you were mostly spared from this windy power of nature! I was in hurricane Andrew... and I will never forget that force... it is incredible, this earth we live on... XO
ReplyDeleteI'm glad hurricane Hermine didn't bring you damage... we don't have hurricanes in our country, I would be very scared to see/experience one... I do love your haiku! Have a great weekend, hug from the Netherlands!
