A little reminder: litter can be deadly to birds.
Please dispose of properly,
especially fishing line.
Happy Weekend and beyond...
Lovely imagery.
ReplyDeleteSunsets are beautiful, even to terns (if the terns turn in the right direction).
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there is a Tern-like bird that resides in SE Missouri on the river. I saw two this week, so similar to your beauties here. They were shades of brown and tan and had that same speedy walk. They reminded me of my Terns of the Pacific but now I find these on the edge of the Mississippi.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice Haiku, i like it very much !
ReplyDeleteThe pictures a great, especially the first :-)

I really like the way they are all facing towards the sun, like flowers... Your haiku captures the moment perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI add my voice to yours and make the warning louder. I hope people listen. We need to stop killing everything (and ourselves in the process).
So precious!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, throw away your litter properly!!
Big Hugs!
Wow, those birds... I had to look up the Dutch name ("stern") - we have seagulls where I live (near the North sea) but not 'terns'... I love their 'haircut' ;)
ReplyDeleteSweet terns and great photos and haiku ~ ^_^
