Haiku my Heart - Comparison
this sweet pampered bird
sits on her small messy nest
eating spinach, egg
in the farmer's field
a large fat robin searches-
finds a breakfast worm

It's early morning here and I haven't had breakfast yet... should I eat spinach or a wurm? Ha, love your haiku!! I wish you a nice, quiet Sunday, stay safe! Hug from Holland!
There is joy in both haiku. The first tells us of the happiness one can find in knowing another soul cares for us. And the second gives a glimpse of the joys of freedom and self-sufficiency.
