Haiku my Heart - Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I cannot claim a reason for my liking, because its the dying time and that certainly is not it. Perhaps its just a respite from the summer's stifling  heat, or maybe some childhood hidden memory that brings out the happy fall feelings. I especially like the echo one can hear in the distance.  Sounds carry so far in cooler air.
Whatever..... I'll take it.

  1. Those crows are very smart! I too, love Fall the most. I think it is the change in light, I call it "Maxfield Parrish" light. I also love the colors of the trees, and my persimmons beginning to ripen, and the letting go...

  6. I adore autumn. The arboreal fireworks make my heart sing and I like the later filgree of bare branches against the sky.
Perhaps that kind farmer is providing the crows with somewhere to rest?

  8. I always think of autumn as Nature taking a very deep breath, before starting her renewal cycle. So there is much to love about fall.

  9. I've learned to be appreciative of the beauty of every season, even before tea ceremony lessons. I'm looking forward to thick blankets, cozy sweaters, and more excuses for tea. :D
