Haiku my Heart - Stormy Day
outside my window heavy grey skies speak of rain spring blooms reach and wait
hello beautiful friend! did your spring rain arrive? here in the mountains of arizona we had a lovely storm for several days! wind, rain, hail-repeat! the earth was soaked and glorious! all the spring daffodils and narcissus are blooming abundantly! i hope your patience has been answered in full! xo
Your gift of writing haikus is so nice. That says so much with those little words. Those blooms waiting. My wild lilac tree, finally grew its' new leaves after our big rain last week. Soon I will have the purple lllac blooms which smell so good and then I open the windows and breath it in.
Not so very keen on rain here just now, after experiencing major floods! Thanks for your comment on my flood tanka. I have left you an answer there explaining tanka a little, since you seemed to want to know.
I so admire your haiku, and love this one.
ReplyDeleteWe are waiting... a lot here. Your haiku brings me hope. I'm reaching and waiting with your spring blooms... Thanks Judie!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your Haiku.
ReplyDeleteIn my part of the UK today we had some strong winds, a shame when some of our blossom trees are in flower!
My good wishes for the month of April.
All the best Jan
I imagine those blooms will drink deeply once the rain arrives.
ReplyDeleteAwesome haiku!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend
