I thought it was rather late in the season, but mom decided she wanted a baby so there goes our porch light again. Hubby swears there are two babies in this nest, but I have only seen one and this guy looks ready to fledge. Cross your fingers for him. The crows got the last two.

UPDATE
Fledgling's first flight. He made it as far as the porch railing. There is another baby in the nest but quite a bit smaller. Hope it makes it. If mom doesn't come take care of it, I'll call the local baby bird rescue to come get it.
UPDATE 7/27/11
OK, HERE THEY BOTH ARE. BOTH BABIES FLEDGED AND ON THE GROUND NOW. MOM STILL COMES TO FEED THEM BUT IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE THEY ARE GONE.
