The heat is so oppressive
But we love summer

Judie, hi. Hope all is well. Great Haiku. Love that water scene. I forgot to do my Haiku this week. Next week, probably on Rebecca's Haiku. Take care and be well.
I have a lot to say about cicadas... but maybe I won't bore you with all of that. and for what you said on my post, you DO have that trust! I know you do. After all you have survived, I know you do. In the end, I trust it will all make sense. Because, I am not totally sure myself. I write words of comfort... for myself too. Love you ♥♥♥
Oh, a lovely painting. Is that yours? Altought I love the thought of summer, the reality is, that it is too hot, and I never liked the sound of cicadas. What I do like about it, is that autumn follows summer!
yes, soon the cicadas will arrive and rattle their love songs to the warm night winds! so good to be sitting upright and visiting your haiku heart. definitely summer!
