The heat is so oppressive
But we love summer

  1. Judie, hi. Hope all is well. Great Haiku. Love that water scene. I forgot to do my Haiku this week. Next week, probably on Rebecca's Haiku. Take care and be well.

  3. Judie, summers on the gulf coast of FL brings many wonderful childhood memories. Beautiful depiction accompanying your Haiku.

Thank you for visiting, and leaving such a nice compliment about my work and art.

  5. I have a lot to say about cicadas...
but maybe I won't bore you with all of that.
    and
for what you said on my post,
    you DO have that trust!
    I know you do.
    After all you have survived,
    I know
    you
    do.
    In the end,
I trust it will all make sense.
    Because,
I am not totally sure myself.
    I write words of comfort...
    for myself too.
    Love you ♥♥♥

  6. Oh, a lovely painting. Is that yours? Altought I love the thought of summer, the reality is, that it is too hot, and I never liked the sound of cicadas. What I do like about it, is that autumn follows summer!
