I know what you mean about the nesting. I discovered a great horned owl's nest yesterday. Mama is sitting there, waiting for her hatchlings!

ReplyDeletemuch love...
A very cheerful haiku. Spring makes the surroundings so alive with sounds, shapes and colors!
ReplyDeleteOh what incredible pictures of those two eagles and what a privilege to observe them every year. I have six finch families in my two pin oaks and every year they raise their chicks!! It is incredible to watch. The trees hang over my swimming pool so when I float on my back I can watch the teeny chicks inside being fed by their mama and it is such hard work for those parents!! We have had dreadful wind this summer and one nest with eggs inside got blown down. Thanks for visiting my blog and calling me out to come and visit - one gets so bogged down with dull routine that you forget what amazing things are waiting!! take care
ReplyDeleteyes! we have bald eagles nesting at some ponds in my neighborhood...love love love spring!
