Haiku

YOU KNOW SPRING IS NEAR
WHEN THE NESTING COMMENCES
MOTHER NATURE'S HEART

It's that time again.
The eagles have built their nest and
already have two fine eggs
to keep warm in their still snowy home.
You can see the eggs in the second screen shot.

Gosh, I love nature and baby birdies!

And this is the blog of the lovely

and where you can find more Haiku

  1. I know what you mean about the nesting. I discovered a great horned owl's nest yesterday. Mama is sitting there, waiting for her hatchlings!

  12. Oh what incredible pictures of those two eagles and what a privilege to observe them every year. I have six finch families in my two pin oaks and every year they raise their chicks!! It is incredible to watch. The trees hang over my swimming pool so when I float on my back I can watch the teeny chicks inside being fed by their mama and it is such hard work for those parents!! We have had dreadful wind this summer and one nest with eggs inside got blown down. Thanks for visiting my blog and calling me out to come and visit - one gets so bogged down with dull routine that you forget what amazing things are waiting!! take care
