Haiku My Heart - Moving On
tiny nest on frond
clings abandoned this season -
disintegrating
backyard cardinal nest slowly unraveling cardinal family has moved on to a new home
Beautiful Judy. I love the combination of the clinging and disintegrating all at the same time... and the colors are amazing, the purple and green and the swirls with the straight fronds... just beautiful, all of it!
What a good eye to spot such a sweet image! I'm unsure if I've ever seen a cardinal's nest. Whatever could the purple material be from? Once there was a robin's nest outside my window. I felt privileged to spot it and watch the activity day by day.
Melancholy with beauty!
ReplyDeleteVery creative photo and delightful haiku!
