The most divine music. Ever. Our birds. Our trees. They are such gifts. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the great-grandmother pepper tree that I get to live with! There is also a massive Douglass Fir and Oak and they are such joys to my heart, as well as the "angel music" they house!

ReplyDeleteRainy and cloudy day so stayed home and baked applesauce cookies ~ worked on the blog ~ etc. Then I actually took a short nap ~ didn’t sleep very well last night after the skin biopsy I guess so rarely take a nap but it sure felt good ~ Angel came up towards the end and slept on my stomach keeping me nice and warm.
Angel and I just took the recycles down the driveway and down the end of the street ~ It was a day later because of the storm ~ usually I bring it down Th night for Friday
Am pick up ~ Don’t know how it happened but had many bags of recycles ~ good to get them out of the garage and a big bag of trash ~
Will talk with my friend Mike on the phone tonight at 6 and then settle in for the night ~ Good to have friends to chat with as it can be very isolating ~
Watched the movie The Dig on Netflix last night ~ it was actually fairly good ~ ~ may watch TV or read tonight.

There is nothing ONLY about birdsong. Solace and heart balm - despite the fact that many of our native birds are NOT musical.
