Haiku my Heart - Cycle of Nature
mother mockingbird feeding small screaming babies crow circles, watches
I don't know much about the relationship between crows and mockingbirds, but I do know that territorial critters aren't happy with things getting near their young.
Beautiful. And true. And as an aside I loved 'the sun is blistering the sky' in the comment you left me. How I recognise that state, and ache for the land and the people who endure it.
Ominous... I now nature balance herself, that everything and everyone needs and has a place in the order of things. Still, crows circling chicks is eerie.
We have to get the crow away. I love my crows, but I'm thinking of those babies! Great write JC! I love your pastel art piece! The Japanese art piece is very pretty too! Big Hugs!
always such a joy to "land" here in your heart! you are such a lovely and witness to every winged creature. ive never met anyone who understands and loves the winged ones as much as you! thank you for being in my heart-a prayer with wings! xo

Crows, while intelligent, can also be cruel...
