the carrier wind
brings lilting birdsong to us
from branches afar
a lovely songbird borrowed
from cable soundscapes
a simple haiku is all I have to offer today,
along with this lovely songbird whose
name I know not. Perhaps you do.

Sometimes I get tired of the wind out here in the Southwest, but your haiku reminds me that it's good for something: bringing distant birdsong near. What a blessing!
